At the request of a previous customer, this image is of a bathroom light recently installed for them by another contractor has been published; we uppealed the insualtion tape that incased these connectors. This type of light fitting can melt plastic connectors due to the heat transfer of the bulb. We removed the connectors and tidied up the wiring above the light fitting in the loft thus removing this potential hazard.

This next picture has been kindly donated to us by a prospective customer. We feel it is worthy of the prime spot for the dodgy wiring contest! Would you beleive that these electrics are installed in their bathroom !!, SHOCKING.

There is no excuse for work like this, the photo on the right shows a lighting cable being spured from the ring

main and used to power up 2 kitchen sockets and the "so called electrician" did not even bother to replace the lid of the junction box and the earth wires were just pushed (not even twisted) together. The photo on the left is another "so called electricians" attempt at connecting downlighters in a bathroom, he left mains voltage connections exposed and uninsulated, made no attempt to protect the back of the downlighter against fire hazards and to top it off he didn't even use bathroom graded downlighters.
